Nel 1969 Ric Grech lascia il gruppo e la band ingaggia John Weider (bassista e violinista) e il polistrumentista John Poli Palmer (per le tastiere e il flauto).
Con questa nuova line-up la band risorge dalle ceneri e con A Song for Me raggiunge il successo sia in Inghilterra che in Europa.
La ristampa in doppio disco include i brani originali, 14 tracce bonus (di registrazioni fatte a BBC Radio fra il 1969 e il 1970) e un opuscolo illustrato.
