Il disco è stato registrato a Lake Geneva in Wisconsin con il produttore Michael Wagener e ha ricevuto recensioni contrastanti dopo l’uscita.
Per promuovere l’album la band ha aperto i concerti di Bon Jovi e Aerosmith tra il 1989 e il 1990.
